At Bubby's Sunset Cruises, we honor the legacy of Dr. Thomas Wendell Point, a man who made just as much impact off the water as he did on it.

To most, he was a national voice for small businesses, a respected advisor in public policy, and the founder of Point Management Group. But to those who knew him best, he was simply Wendell from Hopewell, an ole country boy with a generous heart, a love for people, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

This cruise experience was born out of that spirit. What started as his personal way to unwind and host friends on the water has now been carried forward by his wife, Valerie Murphy-Point, who brings intention and elegance to every detail without losing the soul of what made it special.

Every private and semi-private cruise is a quiet tribute, crafted to reflect excellence, ease, and authenticity. And every booking helps fund students at Wendell’s alma mater, Hopewell High School, continuing his mission to invest in the next generation.
